BenchHive User Manual

Register Organization

This page allows users to register their organization on BenchHive. The following fields are required:

• Organization Name: Name of the organization.
• Website: Official website URL.
• Contact Name: Name of the person representing the organization.
• Email: Login email for the organization.
• Password: Secure password for the account.

After filling in the required fields, click "Register Organization" to complete the registration.

Home Page

The Home Page provides a quick overview of the platform. Users can access the following sections from the sidebar:

• Dashboard: Overview of the system.
• Hiring Needs: Manage hiring requirements.
• Outsourcing Skills: Add and manage resource skills.

The user can also sign out from this page.

Outsourcing Skills Management

This feature allows organizations to define the technologies they are working with and their available capacities.

• List of Skills: Displays current stacks or individual skills.
• Create Resource Skill: Add a new stack or skill along with its capacity.
• Edit Resource Skill: Modify the details of an existing skill.
• Delete Resource Skill: Remove a skill if it's no longer applicable.

To create or edit, choose the stack or skill, define the available capacity, and click "Save changes". Use "Confirm" in the delete prompt to finalize removing a skill.

Hiring Needs Management

If an organization wants to hire resources, they can create a Hiring Need. BenchHive will notify matching organizations with the same skill set and available capacity via email.

• List of Hiring Needs: Displays the open requirements along with budget and duration type.
• Create Hiring Need: Specify the required skill, resource quantity, budget, and duration type.
• Edit Hiring Need: Modify an existing need with updated details.
